Grey Tech Gurus is an Australian based community service organisation, made up of retired I.T. and business professionals who offer their expertise and time to provide tech support to Seniors. We rely on generous benefactors, patrons and donations to continue our work.
Our Mission is to eliminate the technical divide impacting older Australians through affordable technology support and our goal is to assist as many people as we can.
Everyone here at Grey Tech Gurus, including consultants, admin staff and fund raisers are all volunteers.
GTG was founded in 2023 by ex-Pulse International Chief Technology Officer, Wayne Robinson. Our modest fees cover our operational expenses. We offer a vast range of technology help, from basic tasks such as setting up Smart TV's, phones & computers to hardware, cyber security, Scam Awareness and Assistive Technologies such as Google Home and duress alarms.
Education and Cyber-Safety go hand-in-hand with our technical support. Our Seniors Cyber Safety Workshops and pop-up help stalls at shopping centres helps Seniors avoid the ever increasing risks of Identity Theft, Phishing and Scams.
Best of all, you don't need to be on NDIS, My Aged Care or a Home Care Package in order to use our services.
We rely on the continued support of our patrons and welcome anyone who wishes to help with this very worthy cause.
Our services are primarily aimed at retirees, seniors, NDIS Participants and people on My Aged Care plans. We also assist other charitable NFP's (Not for Profit) organisations .
Staying connected with technology is crucial for older adults as it can significantly enhance their well-being by reducing isolation, improving communication, and offering access to healthcare and information. Technology also supports cognitive health and can improve overall quality of life.
Our team are all volunteers who give up their time to support this worthy cause. Most of us come from corporate I.T. or business background and we are mostly retired ourselves or are semi-retired. It is important to keep younger people enaged, so we have developed an intern program to train and mentor juniour staff.

We can offer extremely low fees on our support due to being staffed by volunteers and having funding from a variety of different sources. We will always try to keep our charges to the absolute minimum and we review our donation status twice per year. If we have good stream of donations and sponsorship, then we will reduce our fee structures accordingly.
